Marc Connell is a seasoned mortgage industry professional with more than 25 years of experience spanning wholesale lending, real estate appraisal, retail loan origination, and joint ownership of a real estate and mortgage firm. He began his career in 1997 with WMC Mortgage and has since developed a reputation for structuring high‑quality, guideline‑aligned loans that close efficiently.

Guided by a philosophy of honesty, transparency, and respect for his brokers’ time, Marc is committed to delivering solutions that fit—not forcing those that don’t. This integrity‑driven approach has contributed to consistent performance and long‑term industry relationships.

Marc joined Velocity as an Account Executive and quickly distinguished himself, earning “Rookie of the Year” and President’s Club honors in his first year. His success led to his promotion to Sales Director, where he was charged with building and leading the company’s junior Account Executive program. In its inaugural year, the team produced five graduates and generated over $150 million in 2025, setting the foundation for even greater future production.

In addition to leading a rapidly growing team, Marc achieved President’s Club status in 2025 for his own personal production, which increased by an impressive 238% year over year.
